Yoga is a way of working with the body and mind that  heightens the capacity for awareness and concentration and compliments surfing in that it:

  • Prepares the body and mind and so minimises any injuries and tensions  that develop through surfing.
  • Develops flexibility and co ordination  which allows for greater awareness and responsiveness on the surf board.
  • Develops core strength and  balance.
  • Works with the breath to increase and maximise our use of energy.
  • Helps develop a sense of focused awareness so that each wave is  given our full attention.
